# Salesloft Manage

> Create and update Salesloft people and accounts, manage cadence enrollment, and log notes, tasks, and calls.

Requires a [Salesloft connection](/integrations/salesloft). Grant it only to agents allowed to act on the sales team's behalf: adding someone to a cadence starts real outreach. Records are attributed to the Salesloft user who owns the API key.

`add_to_cadence` returns the existing membership, without re-enrolling, when the person is already active on that cadence. `create_task` sends an idempotency key derived from the tool call, so retries don't duplicate tasks. Setting `do_not_contact: true` removes the person or account from every cadence. Deletes are not available here; use [Call Salesloft API](/tools/salesloft_api_call) deliberately.
