Overview

The Lusha integration gives your agents access to Lusha’s B2B contact and company database. Agents can prospect for new people and companies that match an ideal customer profile, and enrich known contacts with verified emails, direct phone numbers, and firmographics — ideal for lead generation, list building, and CRM data hygiene. The two tools are designed to chain: prospect to discover matches cheaply, then enrich only the records worth paying for.

Prerequisites

  • A Lusha account on a Premium or Scale plan (API access is not available on lower tiers)
  • A Lusha API key, created by an Admin or Manager from the Lusha API Hub

Setup Guide

1

Get Your API Key

In Lusha, open the API Hub (visible to Admins and Managers) and create an API key. Copy it somewhere safe — you’ll paste it into Aster Agents.
2

Connect Lusha in Aster Agents

Navigate to Control Hub > Integrations, locate the Lusha card, click Connect, and paste your API key.
3

Add Tools to Your Agent

Edit your agent and enable Lusha Prospect and Lusha Enrich. Enabling both lets the agent discover matches and then reveal contact data for the best ones.

Available Tools

  • Lusha Prospect — Discover new people or companies matching an ICP using filters (department, seniority, location, company size, revenue, industry, technologies, intent). Returns cheap, non-PII previews plus each match’s id and what data is available to reveal.
  • Lusha Enrich — Enrich known people or companies (by name+company, email, LinkedIn URL, or domain) with verified emails, direct phones, and firmographics.

How Credits Work

Lusha bills per data point revealed, not per request:
ActionCredits
Reveal email1 per contact
Reveal phone5 per contact
Reveal extra company field1 each
Search / prospecting preview~1 per 25 results
To keep spend predictable, Lusha Enrich reveals emails by default and leaves phones off — phone numbers (5× the cost) are opt-in per call. Prospecting and previews never reveal PII, so agents can build and qualify a list before spending reveal credits.
The connected API key is shared by all agents in your organization and draws from your organization’s Lusha credit balance. Use agent-level tool permissions to control which agents can spend credits.

Security Considerations

  • Protect your API key — it can spend your Lusha credits and access contact data
  • Rotate API keys periodically from the Lusha API Hub
  • Grant the Lusha tools only to agents that need them to control credit usage

Troubleshooting

  • Verify the API key is correct and active in the Lusha API Hub
  • Re-paste the key in Control Hub > Integrations
  • Your Lusha credit balance is exhausted — top up your plan or wait for the renewal
  • Reduce phone reveals (5 credits each) and prefer email-only enrichment
  • API access requires a Lusha Premium or Scale plan
  • Confirm the key was created by an Admin or Manager
  • Lusha enforces per-minute, per-hour, and per-day limits that vary by plan
  • Slow the request rate or wait for the window to reset (the tools surface remaining-request counts)
  • Loosen your prospecting filters — overly narrow ICPs can return zero matches
  • For enrichment, provide a stronger identifier: email or LinkedIn URL match best, otherwise firstName + lastName + company domain
  • Lusha Prospect — find new contacts/companies matching an ICP
  • Lusha Enrich — reveal emails, phones, and firmographics for known records
